Our First Journey Begins — Helping Someone Get Back on the Road

We are beyond excited to share a major milestone for Spark Your Journey — we’ve officially begun working with our very first program participant!

Recently, we met a hardworking and determined woman who had her scooter stolen — her only mode of transportation to and from work. Without it, getting to her job quickly became difficult, stressful, and expensive. What many of us consider a basic necessity suddenly became a major barrier for her to maintain stability and income.

That’s where Spark Your Journey stepped in.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and partners, we were able to provide her with a new scooter, restoring her independence and making her daily commute possible again. But this wasn’t just about transportation — it was about restoring confidence and momentum during a difficult season.

Now that she’s back on the road, we’re thrilled to begin walking alongside her as she works toward her bigger goals. Our mission has always been about more than emergency support — it’s about helping people rebuild and thrive in the long run.

This moment marks the first of many stories we’ll be privileged to be a part of. It’s a reminder of why Spark Your Journey exists: to meet people where they are, remove obstacles in their path, and spark forward motion — one step at a time.
